Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all sales and services provided by Betwan Technologies (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Delivery Options

• We place great importance on fast and reliable delivery of customers’ orders; however, delivery times are estimates only and Betwan Technologies shall not be liable for any delays.

• If the customer fails or refuses to take delivery of the goods, they shall be liable for all loss and damage (including consequential loss) suffered by Betwan Technologies.

• At our discretion, a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price may be charged.

• Goods shall be at the customer’s risk upon delivery. Customers must immediately examine goods and notify us in writing of any defect within 3 days. Otherwise, the goods shall be deemed delivered in good condition and accepted.

2. Payment

• All prices must be paid in full and without deduction, including any set-off or counterclaim.

• Unless otherwise stated, all prices are quoted in Kenya Shillings (KES).

• Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes and delivery charges.

• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any product or service at any time without liability.

3. Return Policy

• Returns are accepted within 3 days of purchase, provided that goods are:

  • In original condition and packaging.

  • The current version.

  • Not special orders, peripherals, hardware components, or clearance items.

• For defective products due to manufacturing faults, the return period is strictly 24 hours from the date of sale.

• Customers outside Nairobi should contact us to facilitate returns.

• No returns will be accepted for sealed products once delivered/opened. Manufacturer warranty applies.

• A credit note for the full purchase price may be issued if returns are made within 48 hours in resalable condition.

• Returns after 48 hours but within 5 days may be accepted at our discretion and subject to inspection.

• Improperly packaged returns will attract a minimum 15% handling/restocking fee.

• Original invoices must be presented with all returns.

• No credits or refunds will be issued for returns made after 3 days (unless defective and reported within 24 hours).

4. Warranty Information

• Products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise stated.

• Betwan Technologies does not provide any additional independent warranty but passes through the manufacturer’s coverage.

• Customers are responsible for confirming compatibility and suitability of products before purchase.

• Standard warranty is 12 months from purchase unless specified.

• Warranty will be void if:

  • Serial numbers are missing or tampered with.

  • Items are written on, physically altered, or otherwise damaged.

• Defective on arrival (DOA) hardware may be exchanged if reported within 7 days. Beyond this, the manufacturer’s warranty applies.

5. Manufacturer Warranty

• For products with manufacturer warranties, Betwan Technologies is not liable where coverage is denied by the manufacturer.

• Customers may be required to present defective items at the manufacturer’s service center in Nairobi CBD, along with proof of purchase.

• UPS units carry a manufacturer’s warranty; however, Betwan Technologies guarantees them only for the first 7 days.

6. Dealership Warranty

• Products with dealership warranties may not carry a valid East African Manufacturer warranty and are intended for sale in other regions.

7. Customer Acknowledgement

• By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

• All goods are supplied only under these terms. No employee or agent of Betwan Technologies has authority to vary them.

• Previous dealings do not alter or override these terms.

8. VAT (Value Added Tax)

• In line with Kenyan tax regulations, VAT is charged at 16%.

• All prices displayed are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

9. Changes to This Agreement

• Betwan Technologies reserves the right to update or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting the revised version on our website.

• Continued use of our site or services after changes are posted will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.
